We currently have 1 in the house and we love them. Everything works perfectly, voice control is very good. Sometimes it doesn't know what your trying to say but not a big deal. Once it's on the network you can control alittle bit from the Google home app and that is an awesome feature as well.

Another quality product from Google

I mainly use it as a clock on my bed side but unlike other clocks, the ambient sensor makes this device a must consider. The minimum brightness makes it readable at night but not blinding like my phone on its min. brightness. I consider it a plus that this device is Wi-Fi enable for live weather or like all Google Home devices, a speaker.

Grandma can even work this after setup

However after setup my grandma at 80 is able to ask and listen to news or the entire Hank Williams or classic country music catalog. If she wants to learn the birthday of John Wayne or the name of his co star or villain in a movie she can do it to her heart's content. Skype as well. Awesome.
