    Use one primarily in the bedroom since it displays the time at night in a dimmer mode. Use it as an alarm clock and to display our photos throughout the day. Setting it in bedtime mode with a simple Goodnight command is so easy. Dims the lights, lowers the volume and plays soothing sounds throughout the night. Can't wait to get it set up in the kitchen!

    I've already had about 10 google homes in the house, this one is perfect for my studio space and the bedroom. It has a sensor so it gives you updates about your day and your commute. Sound is OK, but nice if you send music to your audio receiver or paired with other google assistant speakers as a hoegroup. I got the pair on sale, so it was worth the price.

    I purchased this as a holiday gift for my parents mainly for it to function as a live photo frame. We have an infant, so I created a Google Photos album that I then set as the wallpaper on the Nest Hub to instantly turn it into a live photo frame that will always be automatically updated with the latest photos of our little one. For this purpose, it has worked great! I also set it up to work with their smart devices, and it's been perfectly competent at that, as well.
