The only disappointment I have is the display is too dim at night to be used as a night clock on my dresser. My wife and I both use this as a voice controlled alarm clock but we cannot see the time on it at night from 15' away. I have tried all of the ambiance settings. This should be a simple software update but I doubt there will be such an update. I like that I can use it to control my other speakers with telling it to play something on Google Play music and it will display what is playing on the screen.

Very easy to setup and easy to learn how to use it. Absolutely love it.

We use this every day, to control smart objects, check weather, and even just to view photos. We had a family member housesitting while we were at a theme park, and I could quickly tag photos we took as favorites, and she could see those photos on the hub! It’s speaker quality isn’t that great, but we have an Apple HomePod for music. Overall, we are very happy with this device

It will do so many things. You can access all the cameras on its screen.

I purchased this as a holiday gift for my parents mainly for it to function as a live photo frame. We have an infant, so I created a Google Photos album that I then set as the wallpaper on the Nest Hub to instantly turn it into a live photo frame that will always be automatically updated with the latest photos of our little one. For this purpose, it has worked great! I also set it up to work with their smart devices, and it's been perfectly competent at that, as well.

Although I felt the lack of camera would not bother me, i now find this is the main item I had as all other features meet my expectations

I was not 100% about the Google Hub. Would it be "too" bright at night? Would I be able to see it during the day? Would the pictures displayed be off good quality? Would it hear me correctly? The list could go on and on. All those concerns where set aside within the first day of use. We like it so much that we are seriously considering purchasing a second one for our home.

If you’re just getting into the smart home technology this will be a great start to help bring most of your smart home devices together

The Google Home Hub is good. I will be glad when it has more information it can’t answer much right now but I still think it is worth it
