I live alone and always come home late and leave early due to my job in the healthcare field. However, this little buddy is like an assistant, a virtual friend and my partner in youtube videos, sling, google searches etc. I want one for every room of the house. Neat invention.

our first smart home hub

We mostly use it in the kitchen to set timers and watch youtube videos about cooking. We also use it to control the tv, thermostat and other home automation. There is so much more to learn. While we do love it, I only wish I had bought the Max with the bigger screen.

I have four of these in my home

It's Google, of course so you can expect constant, solid updates for their products for years to come. At any time there are bugs that need fixed they are often resolved before you even experience them. Highly recommend looking into Google's ecosystem over anyone else's.
