I purchased this hub with a nest cam; greatest combo ever! The Google assistant is flawless.

Helpful and entertaining...took awhile to remember it was there but learning it was simple

Its a great product if you are willing to spend more on: - nest or similar google assistant supported thermostat - smart switches - chromecast and many more I am able to control my living room lights, temparature and tv (on/off and casting from youtube, netflix etc.) which is really amazing. Looking forward to add more automation around the house in future. Not giving 5 starts due to average sound quality.

Very easy to setup. I have it linked to my Wink hub that controls 10 lights and ecobee thermostat. One minor issue is the thermostat displays temp in celsius on google when thermostat is connected through wink hub. When ecobee is connected directly to google home temp disply is in farenheit.

Very good product For price. Easy to use for video and voice commands.

This thing is awesome in it's ability to help my wife's day. She's going to bed and wants to know what to expect, check that the doors are locked, then to see our infant while he sleeps. Why can't google chromecast provide this type of functionality to my TV?!

Best smart display in my opinion. I have it next to my kitchen sink to stream Youtube, Disney+, or Hulu while washing dishes. It also understand speech really well. The photos displayed are amazing, they actually look like real photos and not just digital photos.

We both really like our google home hub. The touch screen with extra info actually makes a difference and we were surprised it has settings to completely dim to almost unsee-able in the dark (you can change this but that's what we wanted as we were afraid the brightness would keep us awake).

Really like this assistant. The picture quality is good. The sound is average.

This is a nice addition to your home, especially if you don't have Amazon Prime. I can control my Onkyo receiver from this and I added a light bulb in the kitchen which this controls. As with Google, sometimes you don't get the answer you were looking for based on your question but overall this is a great device. I wish it worked with more than the Nest doorbell since the price is so much higher on that device.

I really loved my nest, it understand me both english and spanish, and even spanglish, connected to a camera and works great, I think the app should be more intuitive and easy to use. Now I'm expecting for some offers to bought the bigger one.

Nice addition to my Google home collection. Wife likes having a screen in the kitchen.

Basically just connect this to your home wi-fi and follow the set up instructions. Nice small non intrusive display which can run a slide show of your favorite photos when the unit is not being used. Unit follows voice commands to control other wireless devices such nas lights or thermostat.

This product was very easy and quick to install. It also was at a good price .

We got it for my mother-in-law who has limited mobility. She is enjoying classic hymns, patriotic music, favorite radio stations and programs, all with adjustable volume. We also got a mini and plugs for different lamps, all are working well and we can use to answer questions. We do not have user imprinted. When one of us makes a request, we often have to make a repeat request to get a response.

Doesn't have a camera does what a google assistant does and give you a display

I gave this to my dad for Christmas and he was able to set it up and start using it in no time! Google makes the app very easy to download and navigate for someone that is not very tech savvy. Best Buy offered the BEST deal on this and had it shipped to me very quickly.

Purchased as a compliment to my Google Home devices and used for almost a month. Ultimately I found the speaker quality a little lacking, the Home Mini sounds even slightly better than this Home Hub and it doesn't compare to the original Google Home, its not even in the same ball park. Voice recognition is also lacking with this model. The original Home is able to recognise and pick up voice command very little issue even with music playing. On several occasions I found myself calling out "OK Google" or "Hey Google" two, three, or even four times before the Hub would trigger. The reason I have given 3 stars as opposed to my original thought of 2 stars is because having the screen is relatively handy. Being able to control music, lighting, tv's, etc without always using voice is a nice option. Phillips Hue, C by GE, and Nest are all very responsive from the touchscreen as well as by voice (if it in fact picked your voice up). I would recommend this unit as an add on to your Google Home system (in a family room or kitchen) if you like the touch screen availability, but would not recommend it as your very first smart assistant device. You can ask it to play videos on YouTube, display cooking recipes, broadcast messages to other hubs in the house. It also connects to other smart devices so you can ask it to turn on lights and adjust the thermostat. Our family is always finding new things it can do.
