However, app could more robust. Cannot turn off AI to include all uploaded images on Google Photo, so picture frame needs a little work.

I can now control my alarms my cameras my lights and anything else I can have them I am system from my bedroom. Easy to set up and fairly reliable and voice recognition.

However every 30 seconds or so it keeps showing that it’s displaying my background and blocks the picture most of the time. If I’m not there to tap the screen to make it go away it’s very annoying. I’ve messed with the settings and I don’t like how the display fades too dark when no activity is present. I kinda wanted to use it as a click in the bedroom but when look over at night I can’t see what time it is. Maybe I’ll update my review if I find I’m doing something wrong.

We appreciate your feedback. We´re sorry to hear of the difficulty you have in using your Nest Hub.
Your screen can show personal photos, a clock, or other backgrounds when you’re not using it. We recommend selecting only the Photo frame option, here's how:
- Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
- Tap your Nest display and then Settings .
- Tap Photo frame.
- Choose what to show in Photo frame.
Also, your Nest Hub has a Low-Light Mode. It is enabled when the room is dark and regardless of whether Ambient EQ is on or not. During this mode, the display will either show the time or turn the screen off completely. You can adjust the settings for when to activate Low-Light Mode, and select what you’d like the screen to show during Low-Light Mode by navigating to the Display settings on your Home app.

It periodically responds to a comment from the TV and has become disconnected from the TV for no Reason (TCL Roku TV) I love the concept and helps me turn off the TV without the remote
