I can't really pinpoint exactly where my disappointment comes from, but I'm just not near as impressed with it as I expected to be. I think my 2 biggest disappointments are that it HAS to remain plugged in. There is no internal battery. I try to talk to it a lot so it really recognizes my voice, but it still can't understand me half of the time, so I have to use the app on my phone. Otherwise I do like the features.

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this for a few months and when it's working properly, it's really nice to have, but a lot of times it disconnects with the other google home minis and/or smart lights and doesn't work properly. At one point i couldn't use the touchscreen to navigate anything, I was kind of frozen on one page and wouldn't respond to any voice commands. I've had to restart it multiple times and it works again. Really wish an update can help it, because I do enjoy having this when it works.
