Is slightly faster than my Amazon Alexa but does not provide more info when making inquiries as I thought it would as I thought it would be connected to the google servers and apparently is not.

It worked great at first but now the smart lights that we have keep disconnecting and Google won’t turn them on and off. I don’t know how many times we have reset them up. It’s very frustrating.

Resetting both your Nest Hub and smart lights is a great idea to try and fix the issue. However, the connectivity issue you are experiencing may be related to a congestion with your Wi-Fi network. Removing some of your connected devices may help relieve some bandwidth and you may check if the issue will be fixed. Getting confirmation that your smart lights work fine without the disconnection issue may require you to contact your Internet service provider for resolution.
