Mixed feelings

Fails to pick up "Okay, Google" the first time fairly often. Misunderstands me fair often. The screen is too small to see from far away. Works best on your desk on next to your bed. Speaker is a little underwhelming. It is helpful when it work. Does all the google assistant stuff you'd expect.

Even then, too many of my photos won't display.. some archived, some too old, some too small. Speakers are Home mini quality which I already knew. No email, etc. However, knowing Google most of the those things will be addressed later. Wish I had waited for the Max.

It's a Google device...

The speaker isn't as loud as my Google home mini. I can watch YouTube on it but it's not much better than watching from my phone. I cannot view my ring doorbell with it (since ring is an Amazon product). Overall I think it is ok, I just expected it to be able to do more.
