We have many google home devices and we love them all as we do this one, however is it a necessity. Not for us yet.

She likes it a lot and keeps it on the counter in her kitchen. Personally I don’t use Google products with Alexa due to privacy issues with Google.

Good products with some lacking

What it lacks is the capability to search by typing on YouTube, if this capability was there this product would be a perfect product in it's category.

My daughter and grandson has this one with camera and it is a great tool...you can view or just have a recipe read to you. Lots if fun, viewing whatever including pictures.

If you have Alexa system, you'll get an error message that you need to reconfigure your router. Did a factory reset and returned for a refund. The Google- Amazon war continues.

Also wish it would work with Ring, but I think all this could be fixed with a software update. Maybe someday...

You can watch YouTube Originals, how-to videos, and much more, seamlessly on your screen. Utilize simple voice commands to pause and play videos, or use the touch screen display to do the same. Similar to YouTube on a mobile device or tablet, you can swipe up from the video to see other recommended videos.
Unfortunately, Ring doorbell has limited support with Google Nest Hub. It supports basic features such as starting a new recording and asking the last time the doorbell rang. We´ve taken a note of your feedback and this helps us to keep on improving our products and services.
