Great addition. I can view my front cameras and control the rest of my smart home stuff.

Great photo frame and displays quite a bit of data when you ask it questions. Lots more functionality than I expected. Very useful to start day with travel and weather information. Nice extra screen on teleworking desk. Can control Chromecast devices with touch and is even a Chromecast itself that can connect Bluetooth headphones to. Great device overall especially on sale for $60 or less.

The Google assistant ecosystem is just plain better than Amazon and Alexa. While I manage to have both co-exist in my household i can feel that Google will have better "replay" value down the line. It has certain skills that Alexa is that really refined in and it is a much noticeable difference. Speaker doesn't sound as good as the Amazon products however but the interface and software is leaps and bounds more advanced.

I picked up the Google Home Hub on Black Friday and I am still learning everything I can do with it. Although most phones have some sort of virtual assistant built in, what I like about the Google Home Hub is that you don't have to to pull your phone out of your pocket or even worse, search for your lost phone to use it. Since it stays plugged in and can hear your voice even from the other room, you don't have to even think about it. You simply say, "hey Google" and it will do the rest. My only complaint is that when I ask for transit directions, it doesn't give me the step by step directions. It tells you which bus to catch, what time to leave, arrival time, and even a map. It mentions if there is a transfer or not, but doesn't tell you what that transfer is. you have to look at the map to find out what transfer to take and where. I used the alarm function this morning and I was pleased. I also set my first reminder and it was so simple. Although I haven't cooked anything yet, the recipe search is great because you don't have to worry about touching the device with dirty hands. I don't have any smart home devices yet, but I am looking forward to maybe integrating some smart light bulbs in the near future.

If you are looking to start a new smart home. Get this home compared to to other google Home or Amazon echo. It’s the best for the price and features. Even if you don’t have smart light yet, it’s still nice to have an assistant with a screen.

Works Great. I use it as a picture frame. The only downside of it is google always listening and answering questions from normal conversation, the TV . Otherwise it is an intuitive device in today's computing.

This is a great addition to our existing, hubs. The screen is awesome! I love casting music to my chromecast audio devices and being able to see what's playing. Album cover etc.

Gave a bunch of these to clients and friends as Christmas gifts bundled w/Nest doorbells. Everyone absolutely loves them.

I use it to play music and look up recipes. It’s very convenient and love the music on demand. 4 stars because I thought I can use it to call anyone on my contact list but I was wrong.

Screen quality is great, especially the way it blends in with surroundings. The mic pickup can be bothersome as it sometimes takes a few tries to hear you.

This is amazing. I have it set up in my kitchen and find this very helpful from turning on the radio to Setting several timers at the same time to converting metric measurements to US measurements or watching a YouTube video for a new recipe or making a phone call while cooking. You will love it and find it very useful.

Google did a great job of bringing a screen to its assistant.

The device exceeded my expectations and would buy again

It was Ok, but I returned it… didn’t really add to my life.

Some people have complained about not being able to see clock in a dark room. Go to Google Home App. Go to device settings and scroll down to Display (Adjust display to fit your home). Change Minimum brightness from Dim to Bright or Brighter. Clock is now able to be seen in dark places.
