LOVE IT! I’ve had the Google mini‘s for a few years and didn’t think I needed this but yes I needed it it is awesome I use it every day all the time, I’m about to buy a couple more. You definitely need this! So nice to watch YouTube videos or movies when I’m in the kitchen without having to use my phone or computer it really is helpful! I got the smaller size one and I think it’s fine, it doesn’t take up much space it has a great speaker, really easy to use it just for a Bluetooth speaker alone, very happy!

    Nice upgrade from Google Mini

Have had the Google Mini sine last year and now added the Google Home Hub mainly for the addition of the screen. It is definitely worth the upgrade as the screen adds additional usefulness to the home hub. Works sell with Lifx lights, demo and Nest thermostat. The Google assistant always seems to understand me very accurately and now seeing at the top of the screen what she 'heard' you say in a connivence. I do like the Google eco-system as I have moved my old mini to another room (still able to use it with the home hub. Sounce quality if very good and better than the mini as well.

Haven't been using the Home Hub too long but so far we are enjoying it a lot in our kitchen. We've had an Alexa assistant for a while and have been frustrated with some of the responses to basic questions. Google Assistant seems to handle those much better. It's a great product to pair with a Nest doorbell, you can see on the screen who is at your front door when the doorbell rings. The biggest downside so far is no integration with Sonos! I've tried third party applications like IFTTT and Yonomi, both are pretty clunky. But beyond that it's been great, highly recommend!

We love these! This is our 4th one to spread around the house. The picture quality of the photo show is second to none. A much better option to have vs printing pictures. The sound quality after tweaking treble and bass is actually quite impressive! We have three sound bouncing off a wall behind the speaker so it seems to help fill the room! No complaints! The google home app is not the most user friendly, that would be my only complaint. Not the best layout for ease of use.

I got this for Black Friday. Awesome deal, but this thing does anything you ask it. I love having it in my living room. Anytime I see someone TV n I want more info I simply ask Google n pops up. Works with my Note 9 to. Also, plays my Spotify lists as well as You Tube videos. Alarms, Weather alerts, and a ton more you can do with this thing. The speaker pretty good for music and clear enough when Google speaks to you! Best purchase ever

In my living room we used to use an assistant without a screen, and it was fine. Bought the Google Nest Hub on black Friday bc I had a ton of reward zone points and replace the non-screen assistant, and I'm surprised by the difference having a screen makes. I'm also happier with the performance of the Google assistant vs. the last assistant we had (not naming names). Love that we can see the weather forecast when we ask for the weather, or Google maps when we ask about our morning commute, or general directions.

Got this for the kitchen to replace a Google Home as I wanted to see information. Great for setting multiple timers while cooking (shows each one separately) and see grocery list as items are added. It will read/display individual steps (or entire item) for searched recipes. Screen is plenty big enough and didn't need camera, so didn't feel Hub Max was needed. Sound quality is good, but lacks some of the bass you get with Google Home. For those with home automation devices, it allows you to control items from the screen by swiping down (vs. using voice). Device actions are similar to those in the Home app. Lastly, the screen can be set to turn completely off or display faint clock in a dark room.

I actually own 2 of this particular model as well as having the Nest wireless hub. These units integrate very nicely into my home automation system allowing for seamless control of lights, fans and televisions all with just my voice or the easy to use app. It can be a bit tricky to get set up and I recommend pairing it with the Google Chromecast Ultra on your TV if you wish to take advantage of it's more advanced features. Works well with reminders, timers, alarms, organizing contacts.

I'm one of those people that rely on Google daily... Android phone, Chromebook, Gmail, and I'm also one of those guys that have to have the lights, TV, and AC, all turn on when I ask them to. The Google Home Hub is great! It can handle all of the tasks mentioned and so much more. I have it on my kitchen counter and use it for music while I'm cooking dinner, it takes care of my morning news, weather and commute before I head to work, and displays photos of my wife and son at all other times. Overall, just another handy addition to my smart home.

Nice screen. Bright. Good colors. The build quality is amazing. It doesn't feel cheap. Sound quality is good for what it is and the price. It's not a dedicated music player but it'll get the job done. Setting up is easy and took about 5 minutes. I don't like that it's not powered by USB connector but that's not a big deal. I'm overall happy with the purchase. Be mindful that of the screen size tho. This device is smaller than what I thought or expected.

Outstanding product, very responsive and stylish. Easy to connect the app and multiple devices. Warning, if your smart lights lose connectivity, plan to replace and reuse down the road as the memory seems to hold for quite awhile, however, will not connect right away. Configure your Youtube, Spotify to play your music on command. You may need to "google" options and features as this thing has a boat load of wow features.

I have it on my nightstand and use it as a clock as well as to give me weather and traffic in the morning, play relaxing music at night, add suddenly-remembered appointments to my calendar without getting up, etc. Google did the right thing and made a smart device that does NOT have a camera, so it can't be used maliciously to monitor you in bed or bath. I have its big brother, the Hub Max, downstairs, but this one is great for any private space.

We already owned the original Google Home Mini (now branded as the nest mini), but as it was located in the kitchen, the lack of screen made it a bit cumbersome to use. The Nest Hub really plays a better role than the mini. The screen makes it easy to view recipes, and it can function as a digital picture frame when you're not using it. It also pairs up perfectly with Google Assistant, so you can leverage it to control your various smart devices.

I have several of these which I have purchased on sale. Everytime they're on sale, they are amazingly affordable. Quality wise, it's fairly decent considering it's a Google product. The device OS/software doesn't feel as smart as one would hope. There are many times it doesn't understand me or that it interprets the incorrect word. The app feels outdated and not organized. I have added and removed smart items and for some reason they still remain on the app. If they happen to (actually) remove from the APP, it still appears to live somewhere since using voice control does not reflect the change, for example, I once controlled my dining lights with two smart plugs, then I switched to smart bulbs and removed the plugs, but when I ask to turn off all lights in that room, it tells me "turning off 4 lights" even though I only have two smart devices in that room. I also often have to repeat a request. I have begun switching to Alexa products, because my Google products stopped connecting to my Wyze products. I'm not sure if this is a Wyze issue (which I wouldn't doubt) or a Google one. I just assumed that there was a reason the Google products were so affordable. We all know the saying "you get what you pay for." All that to say, I still recommend as an affordable smart home hub/system. When it works, it works well, but when it doesn't work, it can be very frustrating. I'lll leave you with two more points, it is smart to recognize who is speaking to it (if you have a household) which is convenient when asking to play music (it knows what account to select). If using to view cameras, it takes a while to load and has sort of a buffer/lag.

I have previously only used Echo smart speakers and display but jumped on a good deal and picked this up. Very impressed. Great size, useful features and the google assistant is so much better than Alexa. I still use my Echo devices since there are some integrations that Google doesn’t support but the Nest Hub has quickly become my primary device for searches and home automation, along with watching YouTube TV or HBO while sitting in the kitchen.

Was tossed between the Google Hub and Alexa. I’m glad I picked the Google. It was a little bit more. But u get what u pay for. It is easy to use. Picture quality is great. Hooks up to nest very easily. I have it hooked up to the Nest doorbell. What I like most is I can say google and the hub doesn’t go on !! You have to say Hey Google!! When I had one of those lil Alexa things every time I said Alexa or whispered it the thing was going off!! Love the HUB!!!
