The best part is I can issue and control passcodes for my kids and and fother family members. Plus you’ll be notified when the door is unlock or locked and can lock and unlock anywhere.

The functionality is good. It integrates well with my Nest ecosystem (cameras, thermostat, smoke detectors), so that’s a plus. I can lock/unlock the door. Only issue is the actual locking mechanism was very fussy when trying to install. If there is any bit of resistance when trying to lock, the deadbolt won’t lock. Make sure when you install the hole is an exact match.

Good quality lock but it should be much better to have a built in hub to communicate third party applications or voice recognition such as alexa or google assitant. You still have to buy $50-$100 hub to maximize its features.. But when it comes to security for lock. Good quality doing it manually.

User friendly! Great app and great for keyless entry

Love love love my lock that I also bought it for my dad. Best thing about it is not getting locked out of the house. 2nd best is being able to unlock the door before carrying in groceries!

It was easy to install and works great in the nest app

This is a purchase that has satisfied me 100%. The install is a little technical but it works really well. Just a note, it comes with a nest connect which is nice but when you try to connect the devices be sure to place quite a few feet between the connect and the lock itself.

The app makes it easy to assemble and the touch pad is the best one on the market. Highly reccomend!

Best purchase ever, works great and user friendly!

I bought this lock for my front door that is original to our 1939 home. I didn't want to replace the door, but the skeleton key lock was not practical. So, we added this deadbolt and now we can get in our home without a key. I can lock it remotely and give guests unique codes if necessary. It works really well so far.

I've had the August Yale lock in my apartment for two years now and really enjoyed it. I decided to go with the Yale Nest lock for my new house to enjoy Nest connectivity. My only complaint is that the button noises are different from the August lock.

Installation was done well and lock does everything I wanted it to.

This lock works great. If you've never installed a door knob or lock before, you may have some difficulty as you have to set it exactly right for the auto lock feature to work correctly. I'd recommend pairing this with the NEST security system for added security and easy monitoring of the home via the NEST app.

Works well with the Nest app and app directions are step by step.

Lock works well once it is set up but with iPhone was alittle but of a struggle. Customer service helped a ton but would be nice it it was easier for iPhone users!!!

A really nice product with easy install and setup but limited application / integration with any other product but google. Google has bought nest and thus has limited there product integration to only their platforms. Very sad, as nest has make a remarkable product but Now only works with google assistant. Sad as this is not a common place product and limit future comparable. I fret to see nest falling to the wayside of other competition due to googles influence. It’s sad to see a well developed company be pushed into a new direction. I’ll be returning my Yale x for one that has an open integration with competition / third party smart technology. Google should not limit their potential to other their parties and help all to make a better product.

Installation to door was easy. When I tried to connect it to the Nest App, the lock would not connect. After several hours of trying to get it to connect, I tried to call customer support. Nest currently does not have over the phone support so I tried to talk to them over online chat. All they did was send me troubleshooting instructions that I had already googled and attempted. After reading several reviews, I’m not the only one that’s had this problem. One review stated that it was a known iPhone issue. If I could give zero stars, I would. I will be returning this product.
