Just bought this product but my hole in the door is too small to fit this deadbolt. Going to have to widen the hole to make it work. Just a heads up for people that by this product that it may not fit your existing deadbolt hole

I love this item and it works perfectly with Google Assistant and I can lock the door remotely while travelling. I will buy again for my backdoor and the 9V backup works perfect. Awesome and highly recommended it!!!!

Lock looks good /elegant and works with dial pad. The only issue I would address is the app doesn’t show accurate status of the door and it can be mis leading sometimes. Otherwise the locks works perfectly well.

Nice features but very steep price with a touchscreen that leaves you wanting. Install is simply IF holes already align.

Took a little to get it to integrate with my smart home, but once it was working it works well. was worried at first about not having a key for backup, but I will deal with that when I get to that point.

This is okay, sometimes it takes longer than another brand lock that I had. Sometimes I have to hit the keypad several times just to get the numbers to show. Also, sometimes the device will not work via the app for locking and unlocking.

The Nest x Yale is a smart lock that integrates into the Nest family of products. As a smart lock from Nest, you would expect it to be stylish, easy to use, and with extra features. For the most part, you would be correct. First off, the Nest x Yale has a very nice and clean appearance with a lighted keypad that is not visible when not in use. Push the Yale logo and the keypad lights up, ready for input. The lock on the interior side of the door is pretty large, as it houses 4 AA batteries (included). Besides the manual locking mechanism, there is also a button that can be used to activate (or check) Privacy Mode. With Privacy Mode enabled, the touchpad is basically disabled and the only way to open the door from outside is to use the Nest app. There is an audible speaker, but it is on the outside of the door, so you won't hear prompts as easily when inside (such as activating the previously mentioned Privacy Mode). You'll need to rely on the Nest app to access most of the features, such as setting an Auto-Locking timer. Currently, you have a choice of 10 seconds, 1 minute, or 10 minutes for Auto-Lock. Also, there are no voice activation features, but supposedly that could be coming. Within the app, you also can create multiple access codes and view the Lock History. Installation was pretty straightforward; basically remove the existing deadbolt and install this one. A Nest Connect is included in the retail package, which is required if you don't have a Nest Secure. (If you do, the Nest Guard connects to the Nest x Yale directly.) Ultimately, the Nest x Yale will work best in conjunction with Nest Secure since it technically can't tell for sure by itself if a door was opened, closed, or left open, where a Nest Detect can. But in conjunction with a Nest Detect, you can automatically lock or unlock a closed door.

2nd one we purchased and love it. Being hyper critical,, I'd prefer a dimmer backlight so any chance of someone seeing your entry code is limited

I have purchased a few of these locks and I will say that this is by far one of the best digital locks on the market. The only downfall is using the app which can be glitchy if the WiFi connection isn’t great

I purchased the Nest Yale lock for my new home because I wanted full Smart Lock functionality but I also wanted it to integrate with my Nest Cam and Nest Doorbell. Installation was a breeze and setup with the Nest app only took minutes. My primary interest was to lock/unlock the door without requiring a key for easy of use, but now I can also watch the front door with the Nest Doorbell and unlock the door, if needed, remotely using one app! A great addition to a Smart Home.

It eliminates the use of keys and you can use your smartphone to unlock. I haven’t been able to figure out how to use the smartphone feature, but it is great if you can figure it out!

It was a little difficult to setup but once it’s in its an incredible product to have. I love making codes for friends to use to just let themselves in if I’m running late

Now if the batteries in the hidden cameras my FBI agent placed get low, he can just hack the lock instead of "picking it old school" Please don't delete me and my dad joke...

Great lock with connected WiFi, the only con is if you need to reset it, it’s quite a hassle

I am extremely happy with the purchase of this product. Installation was quick and simple. Setup to connect the "Nest x Yale" smart lock was user friendly. Works well with existing Google Nest & Home products.

Started off rocky, hubby had to adjust dead bolt housing in door frame. We put a gate knob instead of a regular door knob. Love no keys!

Love it.. perfect for the house I would purchase again
