Not what I expected

I never could get it to connect to the Google system. Now it will randomly lock me out and the buttons won’t work or it just keeps telling me to wait and try again later. There is no way to unlock the door with a key when the keypad dies or doesn’t respond. Overpriced for what it is.

This feature offers extra control over who can access your home during specific times. When activated, it disables the keypad on the Google Nest x Yale Lock, preventing unlocking via passcode.

1. Open the Nest app.
2. Navigate to Settings.
3. Select your lock.

It doesn’t have a key port at all, and that can seem scary, but as long as you (or your neighbor) can get you a 9V battery, you’ll be able to get into your home. Highly recommend and this works very well in the Nest ecosystem.
