My Kevo always had to be reset to work, which drove me crazy. This lock has not failed me yet and works like a charm. Does all that it claims and was very easy to install. Love it.

But my favorite part is it's compatibility with Google home. You can check if the door is locked and lock it. But for safety purposes, you can't unlock it.

Can’t return it because it was more than 16 days, then the item was sold without it being taped. I was told when I was returning it, it was not supposed to be untaped.

The light on the inside continually blinks amber until we unlock it. Consequently the batteries run out very quickly.

Every two or three days the alarm goes off for no reason. The message says “Lock has been tampered with” but it hasn’t. When it first happened, I thought it must be a hardware issue. I checked the installation and everything looks fine. Other than that, the lock works pretty good. Not as good as August lock though.

You'll have to disassemble the lock to reset it to get it to reconnect to the nest connect. So unless you're crafty and have time to waste stay away from this product. Just search Yale lock nest connect issues. Unfortunately they got me for three of them. Support is an absolute joke. That is to be expected. Terribly sensitive if your cylinder isn't perfectly centered in the receiver. It will loudly announce that it's not locked while it actually is. It also populates a warning through the app which is comforting when your kid or wife leaves the house promoting you to make a phone call asking them if they in fact locked your door. Waste of hard earned money. Next time I'll purchase from an actual lock company brand not a Google spin off.
