Great lock. Would recommend this to anyone who has a door

Very sleek and minimal profile. I love how easy it is to use and ser up initialy.

We had a hard time getting it to sync with the app.

Try as you may, it doesn't line up with the frame.

This is so much better than the version before it much more smoother to use.

Installation was a breeze if you know what you’re doing. After reading allot of reviews beforehand I was prepared for the installation. I disabled Wi-Fi 5 & 6 features on my router so the lock, nest connect and my phone can all be on the same 2.4ghz frequency. Installation and setup went smoothly after that; and with everything working I just re-enabled Wi-Fi 5 & 6 connection.

Easy to install in door. Difficult if not impossible to connect to your Nest account. The worse setup I have ever seen

This lock is a piece of crap. A few days after installation the lock went offline, it’s not usable remotely. I’ve contacted Nest support, there service is horrible! Almost a month later the lock Is still not working. After I couldn’t get resolve with Nest support I went online and found that there were many people having the same Offline issue. I wish I knew before I purchased the item and now It’s too late to return the lock to Best Buy. Be warned! Don’t purchase this lock! It’s crap!

Lock works fine most of the time but the software seems to be a little buggy, it disconnects and you have to re enter the password, it also doesn’t seem to know if the lock is open or closed if you use the latch at times

Love the idea of this lock but there is a HUGE design fault. Over 4-5 months this lock has disconnected from our wifi and NEVER can reconnect without factory resetting the lock which is a pain. You have to take off the back cover with screw driver and remove batteries and it takes about 15 minutes and you have to be onsite. When I explain the issue no one can tell my why this happens or how to prevent it (neither Google Nest nor Yale). I will have to just throw this lock away and buy another as we use this for AirBnB and we need it to function without us physically being onsite 24/7 to fix it when it breaks for no apparent reason.

This device was working fine until a year passed by and the tamper feature kept going off constantly. For those who don't know, there's a security feature (which you can't turn off) that detects when the device has been tampered with and will blast a loud noise from the lock. This noise does not go away at all and the only solution is to manually remove the batteries. This keeps happening over and over again, and at this point I've left the batteries out, rendering this a useless device. Contacting support was not helpful, Yale support tells me to contact Nest and they tell me to contact Yale. I feel like I was fooled into buying this.

We bought the nest Yale lock and it was very easy to install yourself and easy to set up. Works great with other nest products In our home.

This was easy to install and easy to pair with my phone. It works without any issues and means I don’t have to carry a key to open the door.

Lock was super easy to install mechanically but had a problem or two with the app set up and the WiFi set up, but nothing too complicated.

It's an ok product but does need a perfect door cut to work. It will jam if it feels any pressure against the dead bolt lock. I would get the one for the regular lock if you have a problem with the door not closing correct.
