I love this lock. If we forget our keys we can still get in the house. I can let family in my house from my app if I’m not home. My family loves it

The use of this door lock is just as advertised. The most useful features are the auto lock and notifications sent about the door locking status.

Great lock. Easy to set up. Unlocks quickly. We have purchased our third one and use for all doors. No keys necessary.

Love knowing when my children are home if I am away with the user passwords. I feel very secure knowing when my home locked away from home.

Purchased in 2018 and love it. Works great. Just replaced the batteries for the first time. You wont be disdisappointed.

I now know who is home and I can check to make sure my door is locked a must have with the nest secure security system.

This is my second Nest Yale lock. So far, works great. Easy to use with the Goggle Nest Application. Easy to install.

Minutes to install and ever so easy to use. Instructions need to be viewed on line, but we only needed them to program our codes.

Able to automatically lock the door 1 min after unlocking the door, unlock/lock from the phone, creating codes for family/friends.Love this gadget.

Take-Aways: 1. After setup, if the Next x Yale is removed from the Nest app, the Yale can still be locked from the outside, but cannot be unlocked from the outside. 2. Anyone with a drill can reset the Yale and unlock it within 5 minutes.  Product Suggestions: 1. If access codes are not working, then the Nest x Yale should have a safeguard preventing it from being locked from the outside.  2. It should be impossible for drilling to reset the Nest x Yale to factory settings.  Sept 1, 2019 - I purchased and installed the Nest x Yale lock on my front door. - I downloaded the Nest app, and added the Nest Connect and Yale lock.  - I programmed access codes for each family member.  - It was pleasantly simple to set up and everything was working perfectly.  Sept 2, 2019 - Yale was “offline” in the Nest app.  - Our access codes still worked.  - I confirmed Wifi was working properly. - I tried moving the Connect, resetting Connect to factory settings, removing and re-adding Connect and Yale to the Nest app. I did not reset the Yale to factory settings. - The Next Connect and Yale would no longer add to my Nest app. - Short version of the story… We locked the door from the outside using the button at the top of the Yale keypad. - When we tried to unlock the door, the Yale remembered our access codes but they would not work, announcing, “this code is not working right now.” - Entering random access codes produced an error sound, not the same announcement.  - Nest customer service could not access the Yale since it had been removed from my Nest home in the app. They recommended calling a locksmith and said they would reimburse me for the cost of the lock and for $250 worth of the locksmith’s charges. It was Labor Day. The locksmith’s charge was $424. - Within 5 minutes of drilling the Yale announced that it reset to factory settings and let me enter a new master code to unlock the door.  The locksmith recommended Schlage brand locks. 

Easy to install where previous lock was. Nice to be able to control with my phone. I love the automatic locking feature!

If you're handy with tools, this lock is a breeze to install. You won't need a degree from Harvard or "Yale". Easy app installation and pairing!

I like this lock, very easy to use and very easy to open the door from the app. I would definitely buy again.

It was a bit difficult to install but when it’s done, I love it. It’s so convenient and easy to use.

Works well with the Nest App. I have this along with the Nest Doorbell and both provide me with an added layer of security for my home.

Working great for us after some initial set up challenges. Had a hard type syncing it to the hub, had to use phone hotspot and then change to home internet. Once that was set, it has been great
