We are Nest lovers in this home so finally getting a door lock that is compatible with Nest has been great. My husband installed it easily and the set up process was a breeze. We really enjoy the fact that we each can have our own passcode and give our family and friends one as well! We can even limit their access to our home, if we choose to do so. This has been a great addition to our house.

Easy install. The ability to remotely control the locking and unlocking of the door is just what I was looking for. Added into my Nest thermostat app without a problem. You can enter several different codes for individual people, so you know who is unlocking the door. Very pleased.

Lock works great and is easy lock and unlock with the app or your passcode. I wish there was a way to set it to unlock when you are arriving home. It will lock automatically when you leave, however it won’t unlock when you return home. You must use your passcode or the app to unlock it. If they update the app and allow you to have the option to unlock automatically with the Home/Away assist, I would give it 5 stars. You can give friends and family temporary passcodes to use and set hours that their passcode will work. It has nice features and is still a good lock to get.

Great Design and nice lock. I had similar issues to others with connecting but knew what the issue was immediately and quickly solved the 2.4 vs 5Ghz issue. Not a big deal. Love that my kids have a code and it alerts me. Happy with this lock.

Former owner of the August lock Which stopped working after 2 years. I would say this lock is superior in terms of build quality, appearance and capabilities. I like that the keypad is directly connected to the lock and the app individually assign users their own unique code so if it is no longer needed you simply delete them from the app without impacting anybody else. Installation was simple and I was up and running within 45 minutes.

Had several issues setting up at the beginning. The actual device that allows you to lock and unlock from the app does not connect to WiFi directly. It somehow connects from the app and it needs to be within a certain distance from the lock and the actual WiFi router. After 3 separate attempts and probably 2 hours of my life altogether, we reset the whole thing and found the sweet spot for it to work. It’s been about 2 weeks now and it seems to be finally working fine. Very convenient and aesthetically pleasing.

This door lock is slick! We’ve had it for about 2 weeks now and its awesome! One tip though do everything it says in the instructions and the install will go much smoother. I kept thinking ohh i don’t need to replace that part it will work fine and it caused the lock to not work properly. So install the strike plte, new dead bolt, screws, everything that comes with it.

It was relatively easy to install in place of the old lock. No surprises there. It took a couple of attempts to connect it to the Ring app. It looks very elegant on our navy door to the garage. What I am missing is a function to keep the door unlocked for when I am working in the garage and have to enter the house and get out to the garage several times. Apparently there is a way (not a straightforward one) to unlock it with a voice command but I have not ventured there yet. Good buy!

Easy to install, works seamlessly with the Nest. Looks great, too.

It's great not having to worry about bringing a key whenever I leave the house. I also don't have to worry if I locked the door or not because the yale lock can be set to auto lock after a certain amount of time. Also nice if your hands are full when coming in, just unlock from your nest app before walking up and its unlocked for you already. Only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 is because when using the one touch lock on the lock itself, it does not always respond on first touch, sometimes takes two pushes to use one touch lock...

The lock does what it says it will do. Even though installation seems straightforward, I am glad I opted for the professional installation. The opening for the lock had to be enlarged/deeper to accommodate the lock. I could have done it, but with a lot more frustration. Also, I wish I had known the lock only works with the new Google Home app. It took me a few google searches to figure out how to get it configured properly. The Google Home app is fine, but the user interface is not as nice as the old NEST app. They keep promising to upgrade it but I don't see it happening as a priority any time soon. So for anyone with the old NEST thermostats/doorbell just know that you will have to use two apps or migrate to the Google Home app eventually.

Probably one of the coolest smart-home purchases we've made so far. Super easy to install/use. Integrates perfectly with NEST which we have for thermostat, camera, etc. and with Google Home. I love the security options, guest PIN settings, notification features, and the fact that you can set it to auto-lock after X minutes. I was a little concerned about the price at first but it's definitely worth it.

This was simple to install. Took me about 25 minutes and only needed one tool. It’s a lot sleeker in person then I had imagined. Thought the back portion was going to be big and chunky but a lot smaller which is nice. Height quality and I was able to connect to my Nest account and Google Home app in minutes. Worth every penny and now I never have to worry about carrying a set of keys with me.

I've had this for almost a year now. It works very well, it never loses connection, I haven't had to replace the battery yet, and it works in all temperatures. I've used it in -10F to 105F and had no issues. Connects easily to Google home for easy integration to your smart home, and its a safe, unpickable lock that you can control from anywhere!

The hardest part of the installation was due to our door being old and the previous lock not lining up. Installing this lock was fairly easy. There are instructions and the nest app will give you a video to guide you through the process. The lock itself can be set up to automatically lock which gives a peace of mind. It gives each home member a code and you can create gueast codes.

Install was very easy. Set up took 3 tries on the app part it wont pair to the connect untill i reset my wifi, took baterries off the lock ot self than re install. Than check conect connection via app. After that it installed correctly. Just a heads up if yall have trouble with it. It works perfect and easy to use. You get notifications and all. Looks very good and you can tell by the quality of it. Its worth the buy.

Installation was simple to do without help. Connectivity between the smart lock and the app is fantastic. The flexibility you have with setting separate codes for different members of the household is amazing! You're able to lock and unlock the door from your phone and check to see who's coming in and out. Long battery life and absolutely no issues.

I've been using Yale locks for over five years and I have been very happy with the quality but not so happy with the aesthetics. This time they finally got it right, The design is perfect and will find in modern or contemporary decor and the functionality is as good as ever.

Being my first smart lock, I’m in love with the thing and I’ll never go back to not having one. Everything seems great about it except that the inside speaker doesn’t seem to produce any noise. Unfortunately I was outside my return/exchange window so I’ll need to use the warranty already.
