We already had one for our front entry door and with a walk out basement it only made sense to add this to that door. Set up a routine for bedtime turning off our lights and locking both doors

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the fact that you can program many different codes for different people so you know who is coming and going - one code for the house cleaner, one code for the handyman, one code for a family member and so on. Plus you can lock or unlock the door remotely. The only downside is that it sometimes has problems locking - but it gives you a warning alert. This problem is slowly but surely going away...

With my brand new door frame having a nice fresh pad, the lock gets pinched from time to time and cant fully engage which is annoying. the inside piece is a little bulky but you stop noticing it pretty quick.

Good lock, doesn't have door open sensor

The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a sensor that detects if the door is open, not closed. This leads to the deadbolt (I have it timed to close after 30 seconds) locking while open. Then, we sometimes close the door, slamming the locked deadbolt into the door frame. Even without the sensor, I enjoy this lock.

Perfect addition to make your home smarter

In combination with my smart garage door opener and cellular alarm system, I can now let someone into just the garage or into the house without giving out keys or codes. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and it works great. It looks great, too.
