    I purchased the Netgear - 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem about 3 weeks ago. I had an issue with losing Internet service that seemed to be related to my old cable modem or my old router. I decided to replace both. Since that time, there have been further Internet issues. I am thrilled.

    Same Puma 6 chip as SB6190

    This modem is probably fine but it has the same Puma 6 chip that my old SB 6190 had. They have been reported widely to be buggy so I returned this and got a more expensive SB8200 which has a more reliable (reportedly) Broadcom chip. This gives my full 200 MBS throughput and usually clocks in at the 120% max around 235-238 MBS. Now if I can just get my buggy Orbi system to run stable!
