As the backbone to my internet I needed a good modem. This one operates in the background but does a great job doing so. Very nice to look at at gives me great speeds with my router.

This is my second time buying this machine. I bought another one for our secondary home. I have nothing negative to say about this product. It works flawlessly and very easy to setup.

I’m so glad I chose this NetGear Modem Router, It works better than the one I was paying rent on every month through my internet provider. Best decision ☺️

I recently upgraded my cable internet plan and needed a faster modem. Better is my go-to brand for modems and routers because of their quality. This modem has not disappointed me.

My old modem was crashing and was slowing down my speeds now with this I don’t get any of that. My problems were solved by upgrading to this one

We purchased this modem to replace our "rented" one. This was easy to install and we haven't had any issues what so ever. Great investment.

I give this 3 stars became when rattling a product you have to take into account more than just the product itself. As far as the modem itself goes it works fantastic and if this review was just on the equipment it'd be a 5 star review, however since this asks for OVERALL rating I have to take into account other factors such as support and I must say without a shadow of a doubt that Netgear support is the absolute worst. If there were any other decent options out there I would jump on them in a heartbeat but as it stands Netgear makes some of the best equipment. So if you're looking for a great product and don't care about it being supported more than90 days after you get it then get this hands down but unless you have VERY specific needs look elsewhere. Netgear is the Comcast of customer service for networking equipment.

I upgraded my modem from a 8x8 to this model. While I don't get a faster DL speed when running checks, I do notice less lags when multiple devices are connected as expected. This modem has worked well so far.

I have the 50Mbps service through Cox cable and this modem works perfect. This is my second Netgear modem because I had my last one for few years and just wanted to update it.

Very happy with it's performance in handling the internet traffic and allow us to get away from the other unit that was having to many problems

This is a easy product to set up, great and very dependable. The price is also great, this is my second netgear product I’ve purchased within a 10+ year time frame. I will always buy Netgear

We needed the modem to pair with the Night Hawk X6 router to handle a large number of devices. So we got this Netgear CM700 and It's working great. No more dropped devices and no more buffering or resets on Netflix.

Connection and speeds are stable and it will be useable for a while with its 1.4gbs max speed. You could also consider the router/modem combo model but the router specs were a bit slower than what I was looking for.

After a couple of false starts with my system and several upgrades, this modem does an excellent job and have had no problems since. And the sales rep was a great help in making my decisions in my upgrades.

Switching to this from the standard issue cable company modem made a works of difference in our internet experience. Much faster speeds—consistently close to max we are paying for, very pleased with this purchase.
