We started out with a 16x4 modem for our home network and it just wasn't serving our needs well. We have a lot of devices in our house, some via WiFi and some via ethernet. The salesperson at Best Buy was able to explain to me the reason why one household would need more channels in their modem. Switching to this modem was very seamless and everyone in our house is happy.

If you are a Spectrum internet user...Stop using and PAYING a monthly fee for the use of their Modem. Great to have this item and get rid of the monthly modem rental fee. This item will really make you happy after your purchase. Just check the list of modems for your area from the Spectrum web site (or call Spectrum) and purchase away. Step up is easy after you get home and then call Spectrum for easy step up with this.

Handles the bandwidth well. Small in size, but packs a punch. Does quite well.

Using this with Cox as my internet provider. I have it connected to a switch which provides internet to multiple devices including mesh wifi. I've had to restart it a few times when the power goes out but its working fine.

Needed a new one and this one works perfect. Easy to setup and much better than renting a modem.

I came in looking honestly just at price to determine which modem to buy. The sales associate came over to assist and narrow down my choice of products. He immediately explained the differences in technology and quality, guiding me to the 32x8. This was extremely helpful as I did not completely understand the differences and/or pros/cons. It works great and price was reasonable. Very satisfied with my experience and purchase!

I bought this after lightning struck outside my house destroying my old modem. It was a little bit of a trick to get activated with Comcast but in the end we did get it done. It required some work on the user end and also some work on the Comcast side to make it work. I noticed a little bump in modem speeds but nothing too noteworthy because my old modem was really not that old.

Activation was easy. Administration configuration was easy. Very pleased with speeds and reliability

This modem works great with my Comcast internet connection. I decided to buy my own modem so that I didn't have to pay the additional fee that Comcast charges each month for you to rent their modem. I plugged it into the wall and it worked right away. I also bought the protection plan just in case anything does go wrong with it.

Good speed and does what it needs to do. Easy setup. Just plug in Ethernet wire and it was compatible with optimum.

I use this along with the NNETGEAR - AC1000 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 5 Router. I am not at all a techie person. This was easy to set up and it's working great. The performance is very good. I have had it for almost a year. No complaints at all here!

It worked well but wasn't the device I needed yyyy
