    I chose this modem because of the reviews here claiming that it will work with Optimum. I'm located in Brooklyn, NY and it is not compatible here. I bet with any other internet service this modem would be fantastic. Optimum is all around terrible. Best Buy was fast with shipping though, so thanks for that!

    It was a replacement for an out dated Netgear Modem that was less powerful. After talking with a sales person he recommended this unit and that it would hook up to my service without any problem, and if I needed help to comeback or contact the Squad Guys for help.
