With COVID 19 our church had to go online to keep the members engaged. Our internet ports where all being used. The 5-port Net Gear Ethernet port helped to keep our laptop connected and kept us from having to disconnect other devices while live streaming.

Does what it’s supposed to without loosing too much speed. My pc clocks in at around 970 mbps on gig internet. Good pickup if your router/modem is in a weird spot.

I purchased this switch to split one ethernet connection from the router between two desktop computers. It was truly "plug and play", and we have had no issues browsing, streaming and gaming while using the switch. Would gladly recommend this product.

This switch came in handy when the router went on the fritz. With the addition of ethernet cables of varying lengths we were able to set up a functional wired network in no time (and the price was right).

Office switch crapped out and left our work computers without internet connection. This little device came in and saved the day! Easy to use, just plug it in, plug in the ethernet cables, and you're off to the races!

This is a nice little router that has been working flawlessly since I got it a month or two ago. I have too many computers and this allows me to have all of them on my network, even though the ports on my Linksys router were all used up. It can be mounted on the wall, and I'll probably get around to that someday soon.

Plain and simple - have a few other 5 and 8 port Netgear switches throughout my house. Bought this one to replace another brand that had gone bad. Paid a few $$ more for business-class reliability (2 people working from home).

With two adults relying on limited residential internet, the addition of ethernet to at least one home office helped reduce the load on our WiFi bandwidth. This device allowed me to run 4 devices on an ethernet line connected directly to the router.

I have only ONE ethernet coming out of my modem. That goes to an external wifi system I and then O on to my computer. But I wanted to send another ethernet cable to my TV. This box gives me extra ethernet outfits so it does the trick for a low cost.

The easiest way to add more inputs in a small place. Needed to extend my wired network for working from home and this allowed me to run 1 ethernet cord into a second home office.
