    Netgear consistently produces quality consumer grade equipment. Fast and haven't had to reboot it like I do with some of the lower quality brands.

    Makes it a quick item to add devices to a location on the network. Without loading down the network. Can be used as temporary or for ever long you need to.

    This switch is sturdy and gets the job done. Not much to say about it other than that; it's just a blue box that connects ethernet cables.

    My wife is working from home and wanted an ethernet connection for the voip office provided phone as well as her office latop. Distance is about 15 ft from router, and both devices connected to the Netgear switch. It was an easy install (plug n play) and connection is stable. A good purchase.

    Working from home needed a wired connection so any wi-fi spottiness wouldn't create a problem. This did the trick and is easy as pie to set up.

    Metal. Very easy to setup. Plug and play. I use it behind each tv. Xbox,ps4,Apple TV. All plug into Ethernet.
