As usually, this is a good item. I expanded to google wifi so I needed an additional port. I did not realize how many ports me and my husband was using. We may have to purchase more ports in the future.

I use network switches in my work and NETGEAR has always been very reliable. you can plug it and forget it. if one would have a problem with it, 9 times out of 10 its a connector issue not the switch. anyways that's my 2 coppers.

I have a managed PoE switch, but I needed a couple of extra non-powered ports, so I daisy-chained this switch and the one I had. I've experienced no issues and no data loss. Works as expected for a decent price.

This is a good switch. It gave me the ability to connect several networked devices without having to keep my wireless on all of the time. I recommend this brand.

the NETGEAR 5 port Gigabit switch was easy to set up and small enough for the small area it needed to fit in.

Reliable and a brand that you can depend on. Generally They are on the pricy side but a switch is not something you want to save on specially if the price difference is very little.

Needed to add a couple of more Ethernet cables to my Router/modem, which was full. The answer was a small switch. I have used NETGEAR before because they have not let me down, and this one was no exception. It works great for what I needed.

Great for hardwiring multiple connections directly to the internet instead of wirelessly. Easy to set up and haven’t had any problems with the equipment.

This is my third NETGEAR switch and just like the others, this works flawlessly. I see no drop in speed while using this and now we have all of our entertainment units hard wired (PS5, smart TV, and wife's laptop)
