I had one Ethernet cable and needed to hook several devices- my WiFi kept dropping my devices. No setup needed, besides hooking up the cables. I did need to purchase extra Ethernet cables to go with this device. This was exactly what the IT doctor(aka not so savvy hardware person) needed.

Ended up returning this one before I even got it out of the package. Didn't have any problems with it, just didn't need it when I got it back home. Great customer service and quick refund with no fuss.

Been using these for businesses for years. One died out of like 30 we've used and replaced it for a business after 7 years.

works fine, this was needed to be able to connect multiple items to the internet, such as two computers & home security cameras

Netgear makes great products. I have a few of their devices. This piece is no exception. Very simple to install. I would like it more if the connections were all from the same side. The unit would have to be bigger to accomplish this. They decided to go small instead. That is the compromise.

Installed the Netgear Switch and it is working as expected. Components are of very high quality and its been working great.

This is a great little gigabit switch with s gear warranty to boot. Price want half bad either Easy installation and immediate results from our old 10/100.

This is my 4th NetGear switch. As you can tell, they are providing me with what I need. I didn't want to install new lines so the switch provided a quick and sustainable option for what I needed.

Needed additional ports as I was adding items to my wireless router, eero which only has two ports, of which one is in from modem. Turned off all equipment plugged it in and started up. All self detected and came up and ran as intended. No issues whatsoever. Plug and play!

Its plug and play and does exactly what it says on the tin. Pray you don't need support though, since they only offer 90 days free support.

It’s plug and play as advertised. I use this switch to connect the TV, blue-ray player, and sound bar. I have not had any issue with connect to internet. My only complaint the power and Ethernet port on opposite side; wish they all on one side.

Unmanaged switches are the way to go, pretty much dummy devices that acts like a splitter. Required this for a spectrum community solution since the router they provide in our units only has 1 ethernet port and we require way more than 1 port

I used this to help with linking my The Fast and The Furious Arcade1up cabinets for linked play and it works great!

Call me old school but I like devices that feel built to last. I mean it is a plain unmanaged switch so it is hard to mess something like this up, but having a metal case is something that I like as it can take some punches.

Does was it’s intended to do. Able to add a few more cat5 ports since all the ones on the back of my router are used up.
