Can never go wrong with Netgear when it comes to networking equipment. And this switch is no exception, works great plug and play for any network needing just a couple of connections.

I needed a switch for four devices in my home entertainment system. I bought this switch, and it performs great. Very happy with it.

Needed to expand the number of Ethernet ports for additional equipment on my network. Plugged in the Netgear 5-Port 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch and immediately all added devices were connected.

Originally I was unaware of this product, and it was referred to me by a Best Buy associate once he learned what I was trying to achieve. It is a great product and works perfectly. I am glad that I got it.

I use network switches in my work and NETGEAR has always been very reliable. you can plug it and forget it. if one would have a problem with it, 9 times out of 10 its a connector issue not the switch. anyways that's my 2 coppers.

As usually, this is a good item. I expanded to google wifi so I needed an additional port. I did not realize how many ports me and my husband was using. We may have to purchase more ports in the future.

I have a managed PoE switch, but I needed a couple of extra non-powered ports, so I daisy-chained this switch and the one I had. I've experienced no issues and no data loss. Works as expected for a decent price.

This is a good switch. It gave me the ability to connect several networked devices without having to keep my wireless on all of the time. I recommend this brand.

the NETGEAR 5 port Gigabit switch was easy to set up and small enough for the small area it needed to fit in.

Needed to add a couple of more Ethernet cables to my Router/modem, which was full. The answer was a small switch. I have used NETGEAR before because they have not let me down, and this one was no exception. It works great for what I needed.

Use this switch to connect my Netgear MR 1100 to my wife's computer and telephone communication devices. Very simple for me to setup and I am not a technical guy.

Reliable and a brand that you can depend on. Generally They are on the pricy side but a switch is not something you want to save on specially if the price difference is very little.
