This switch is a tank. It never needs to be restarted, never has problems. It just works. I have a few in operation around home and at work and they've been going strong for years.

I bought this gigabit port to connect my TV, Xbox, roku and playstation direct ethernet cable for more faster streaming, video gaming and more instead of using wifi. I live this box very well constructed metal plate is super fast gigabit speed I had a asus and it was a megabit port so it was pretty slow. But this one work extremely well and worth the money.

Works flawlessly no complaints. Bought on Saturday and had it installed on the network the same day. Makes life much easier with so many devices connected by wire.

True plug and go. This device was a life saver. Lightning struck near my house and my home office was down. I franticly look for an option and this little device saved the day. It went straight from the box to my office being back online in less than 5 minutes. Netgear has always been my networking partner.

This is a nice little device that enable you to run multiple ethernet devices from a single ethernet source. If you only have one ethernet source then it eliminates the need to keep moving that ethernet cord into device you want to use. It's basically plug and play, but does require power so nearby power outlet is necessary. Does not come with any ethernet cables.

I bough this item to upgrade my older ethernet unmanaged switch. The older one was not as fast and not scalable like this one. I had no problems hooking it up. I simply moved each connection over from the old one to this one. I am now getting the max throughput speeds versus my older model. If you need an expandable switch, you cannot go wrong with this one.

Small compact and reliable. Other units are bulkier. This gets the job done. The only thing that would make me happier is if it was black.

I recently added a NAS to my office and needed an additional network port. Adding this simple unmanaged switch solved my issue perfectly. I like that there are 5 ports so I have the option for additional expansion. Being a gigabit switch was also critical for achieving a high speed connection to the NAS.

I bought this to add onto my Linksys Velop system. It allows me to hardwide my multiple computers onto my mesh WiFi network when the Parent node of the mesh WiFi only has one remaining "sensing" port. Plug and play and it "just works". Appears pretty heavy duty too, metal housing.

I was let to believe that it was POE switch when I asked sales, but it wasn’t so I needed to return it to buy one elsewhere.. So make sure the box it comes in has POE on it! Otherwise, the switch worked great and was priced right.

Simple to install and use. The switch works as described. It was a good value.

Outstanding switch that allowed me to up/downstream 4 hardwired connections to my cable modem/router that is downstairs through a single Cat 5e cable. No IP address changes, no subnet mask changes, just plug and play and this little switch works wonders. Highly recommend this switch if you're looking to expand your hardwired network.
