I needed a switch for my home office. There are cheaper ones but Netgear hardware has always be reliable & just works. My router is also Netgear so I always prefer to use the same brand hardware on a network. Probably doesn’t matter but why push your luck. Plus I use the Netgear app to view & manage my home network.

What can I say, it works! Needed to hook up a printer in an office with only one network jack so plugged that cable and the printer cable and the computer cable and voila', they all worked. Perfect size as only needed the three ports so it tucked away on the back of the desk.

Can't be more simple. Your router goes in one end, and any other devices come out the others. I got this because my router is a Google Nest Mesh network so there was only one output on the router. The hub helped me hardwire a PC & Philips HUE, both of which wound up working flawlessly.

The Netgear Prosafe 5 port 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet Switch is built solid. This switch supports up to Gigabit speed and the ports use "auto-sense" to automatically adjust for uplink capability (using standard Ethernet cable) when you wish to daisy chain with another switch. Netgear backs this "pro" grade solid metal switch for life.

Attached this to me new EERO Wi-Fi system so I could directly attach cameras and a stand-alone digital storage unit. Plug it in, plug in your devices...that's it. Worked like a charm very first time! Everything running as it is supposed to!

Need more ports? This is a great device that does exactly what it says. NETGEAR does a fantastic job making this network switch easy to use (literally plug in the cords) and manufactures it with a high standard -- well build and sturdy.

I got an ethernet cable and wired up my PCs in the office. The PCS both get in the 900s through these switches. I was going to get the more expensive ones but these ones work great! My office couldn't be happier. I got Satellite service and was only getting like 50 mbps over wifi which wasn't going to fly.

I recently moved into a new house and had the contractor run CAT-6 cable to each room in the house. I'm using these Netgear switches in each room to run ethernet to computer, television, PS5, printer, etc. Plug and play simplicity, and the signal quality is excellent. Highly recommend.

Perfect way to balance out demand for surfers against the gamer's who are on the net all day. It doesn't play favorites when assigning who gets what when. Everyone gets what they need when they need it as far as speed is concerned. A true problem solver.

This is a great device that I used to use a single LAN drop to two devices (HD streaming device--Innuous Zen Mini Mk III and my home theater amplifier--ARCAM AV390). Works great with no issues and the installation was plug and play.
