Upgrade your network switch to match internet spee
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a new switch for office and home. Nobody ever tells you to upgrade any switches you have to handle the higher internet speeds. Wasn't a problem when DSL was 3mbs. Easy to install, no hassle, works right out of the box, no settings to play with.

Does its job
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to shrink down from the router i had repurposed as a switch and it is working well. only as big as it needs to be. I wish i could find a reasonably priced one with the power cord and ethernet connections all on the same side but ive not found one yet so this does the job.

very good if your out of spare ports
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this network adapter is very small and low profile and all it takes is a power cable and a Ethernet cable to give it network connectivity to get things set up. once the first network cable is plugged in, you have access to 4 Ethernet ports without any slowdown from multiple wires

extend your home or work network to 4 devices.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.simple and basic small switch where you can extend you network to 4 other pc's or laptops or TV's or even a streaming device. works great, take up a small space on a desk or table. this one is what I like its made of metal not the plastic that some are made of.

Great product great price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed an inexpensive but quality network peripheral for a work project and Netgear once again comes through. Wasn’t on sale but the price was low to begin with, and being readily available in store for same day pickup sealed the deal.

inexpensive and does what it should
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Inexpensive solution that works. Take it out of the box, power it, plug in your cat 5 wires and you're in business in minutes. My only complaint is that it could've come with a template for the screws if you want to mount it.

Best purchase since I went with AT&T fiber
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went with AT&T U-verse and had nothing but issues with the WiFi in my living room (I do have a wired receiver there) so I figured I’d try hard wiring my devices in that space. This little box works great, tv, Roku and my wife’s Mac love it. No more issues. This is the way to go.

A little faster than before!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the older 10/100 baseT Ethernet model and updated to the 100/1000 baseT model. This is simply like a power strip for Ethernet connections. One goes to the wall or router and the remaining four can be used for devices to share an Ethernet channel and use the Ethernet Modem connected to the WLAN on the router. Remember the connect speed is still the slowest point in the chain so you won't see 1000 baseT speed if a 100 baseT Ethernet device is in the chain. That point understood, this is a no brainer update to REMOVE those slower devices in your Network as we see faster and faster devices like routers and Internet modems and even wi-fi populate your network. There is no difference in installation with the older model, simply remove and replace and you're done. Where the extra speed is detected, it will auto negotiate that speed for you.

Does what it is supposed to do!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Reliable and easy to set up. Couldn't ask for much more except a great warranty (that I have never needed to use over all these years of using the ProSafe line). Works right out of the box with no fanfare or hurdles to jump through.

||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does what it’s supposed to without loosing too much speed. My pc clocks in at around 970 mbps on gig internet. Good pickup if your router/modem is in a weird spot.
