Works as expected, decent price. Used to connect to a couple firewalls.

This unit is very easy to set up/install and takes up very little room on my desk. I bought it at the advice of a Best Buy associate so I can operate a wired network including my desktop PC (upstairs office), my notebook (downstairs music studio) and my BluRay player (living room). I haven't run the cable for the BluRay yet, but both computers are working very well. I'm using Cat 6 cables to 'future-proof' the system.

I bought the NetGear 5 plug switch box when I bought the Google Nest. I have several devices plugged in to my modem and needed another plug for the Nest. It works great. I was able to unplug almost everything from the modem and plug them into the switch box. Now I have more room if I need it. I started to buy one of the larger ones but I was not sure how well this one was going to work. Now I wish I would have bought one of the larger ones.

Plug and play, nothing to configure. Solid construction. I suppose it is worth a few extra bucks over the cheap plastic ones (this one has a metal case), it will probably run forever. Only downside is that the power port is on the back and the ethernet ports are on the front, but it's not a deal breaker. Also note that there is no way to turn off the flashing lights. Indicators show speed 10/100/1000 for each port.

Work great, no dropped upload or download speeds and steady connection for all devices connected. I use this for my apple tv, sonos arc ultra, and lg tv

This has been a game changer!! I recently switched to Vexus Fiber and they are a great company, but the router they gave us only has one extra connection. So there will be times where my brother and I would go back back-and-forth from unplugging our connections to use the wired connection. That’s when I said enough is enough and I bought this and it literally has been a game changer.

Very well built compared to the unit from another manufacturer that failed. Very easy to setup. Great instructions can be found on YouTube. Worked the first time and continues to operate without a problem. Will definitely stick with NetGear products.

Easy to install, plug in the power and then plug in the ethernet cables - no switch management required. Twinkle lights indicate connection speed and data transfer activity. Excellent inexpensive switch you can quickly add if you need some extra ethernet ports in an area. Can connect 10/100/1000 MBPS inputs at same time without slowing down faster connections.
