Easy to set up and the product line has been reliable. This is the second Netgear Proline switch that I’ve purchased as an add on to an existing one. The older one still works after many years and I expect this 5 port switch to be the same.

I wanted a Cat5 splitter, but they didn't have one, but the lady on the floor suggested this. I was amazed as I am good with computer things, and had not thought about this solution. It works exactly as I was hoping, and NetGear is a solid name in equipment.

This model is a compact size and has no set up issues. It was affordable and unlike some other models does not slow the network.

This is my go-to choice for a small gigabit ethernet switch. I use one in my home theater to connect all of the "networked" components. They are small enough that you can just tuck it away in a corner of the cabinet. Also works great for gaming consoles- wired ethernet is much faster than wireless. I have several of them in use at home.

Very simple plug and play switch that couldn't be easier to set up. I picked this up as a cheap way to get a few devices off my cluttered WiFi network without having to run additional cables. With 5 people in my home it was not uncommon to see 5 phones, 4 TVs, and a couple laptops on my WiFi at once. Peak hour traffic got a little too heavy for 4k steaming.

This is a great little switch. It is small and lightweight, and has lights next to the ports to show which ones are connected. There is no set up required at all, just plug in your ethernet cables and everything is connected! I have been using it for a year now and I would buy this exact switch again if I needed another.

I have only had this for several weeks so far but I have no complaints. The speed is good, it's been reliable. I use it in my home theater room to hard wire 4 devices via network drop to my main Wi-Fi router on a different floor of the house. I have a TV, receiver, BluOS Bluesound Node, and blu-ray player hooked up to the switch. So far so good.

What I love most is how “set it and forget it” it is. Installation was straightforward, compatibility was flawless, and it posted on the first boot with zero tweaks. It just works—and it keeps working. No random hiccups, no instability, no weird crashes. It’s that rare upgrade that feels both powerful and completely dependable.

It performs as expected. True gigabyte ports. I personally have Google fiber and tested this on my pc and PS5. So far, solid speeds between 750 and 880 megabits per second, according to the speed test. It is also priced very well and has a great case. I highly recommend this for anyone in need of a network adapter, especially for gaming.
