TV installation

Each tv location is wired for internet, each tv uses an Apple TV and sound bar. all requiring an internet connection. Everything is located behind the tv, so wires are hidden. I like wired systems better than wireless, buffering is eliminated.

simple fast ethernet switch - plug it in & use it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a necessity in home networks - wireless is great, but if you have the option of wired, it's faster - i have several pc's and network storage hanging off this device, providing a very fast wired network in addition to the wireless - which i use for mobile devices & printers mostly.

Great and very fast

My router pushes out 250 mbps and this adapter manages 240-245 mbps. Which is almost perfect.

This small box allows me to connect everything I have. Super easy to set up.

My “lost count”th Netgear switch

Also is really helpful that every port has its own activity light and on/off light. Every one of our offices has these small “cubes” for connecting to the office network star topology.

Great little switch when you need an extra port.

Client added 3 new printers, but didn't have them cabled & wanted to avoid wireless. I used this to combine all three printers to one network connection. Worked perfectly, great when you need an extra port that's not bandwidth intensive.

I run a 100ft cable from the router downstairs to my room, thought I would have to keep buying long cables but with this 5 port switch I only need the 100ft one I have and now I can just buy the regular sized cheaper cables
