My “lost count”th Netgear switch

Also is really helpful that every port has its own activity light and on/off light. Every one of our offices has these small “cubes” for connecting to the office network star topology.

I run a 100ft cable from the router downstairs to my room, thought I would have to keep buying long cables but with this 5 port switch I only need the 100ft one I have and now I can just buy the regular sized cheaper cables

Easy and quick

No setup needed, besides hooking up the cables. I did need to purchase extra Ethernet cables to go with this device. This was exactly what the IT doctor(aka not so savvy hardware person) needed.
