The router that was given to me from Cox died, so I needed to get my own(easier and cheaper honestly). I did some research and this product was right up my alley. Since I have hooked this up, it hasn't reset, froze, or any other errors. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs one.

After researching cable modems so I didn't have to pay a monthly fee to rent one from WOW, I ended up going with this netgear. I have had it for about 4 months and havent had a problem at all. We have 30mbps internet and it never misses a beat.

After buying this modem our internet connection stopped working. I contacted Time Warner, thinking it was their issue. They insisted it was probably a bad modem. I returned it and bought another of the same modem. Same issue. Time Warner came, checked all of the connections and even checked the connection on the pole at the street. The also confirmed that this was the right modem for our internet connection. The TWC tech said he had encountered issues with this very modem three times in the previous two weeks. I returned this and purchased another brand's modem instead, and we haven't had any issues with that modem. So, despite the box saying this modem is Time Warner compatible, it is not.

I just bought my modem today. Really easy to activate with Comcast. So far so good. I can't wait to save money by not having to rent a modem from Comcast.

I bought this to save money from leasing a modem from TWC. It works great and does the job I need. Will pay for itself in about 5-6 months.

This Cable Modem works great! It does everything I need it too, and now I don't have to pay the Cable company extra!

Installed this about 5 days ago in my new apartment. Works perfectly, and couldn't beat the price.

Works as expected, easy to setup no problems at all.

This Modem worked fine with cable directly connected. If I split the signal through our 1000Mhz cable certified splitter it would disconnect repeatedly.Added the cable input to the signal amplifier that drives the signals to our tv's with no improvement Cable strength at the Modem was very acceptable with all three connection scenarios,however this modem would operate reliably only with the direct cable connection. Time Warner came to the location and verified that our cable signal was excellent and recommended we purchase another model router

The transaction hit a bump when my girl friend arrived to pick up the merchandise and the computer had not posted her authorization. Store personnel were polite, concerned, but firm. That's good. The security procedures worked, thx, rmo.

Modem ethernet port cracked after 9 months. Thus, the ethernet cable would not stay in the port. Our ethernet cable stays pluged in all the time so it is not like the port should have much stress/use on it. Netgear did not cover it under their one year warranty. Netgear was very difficult to work with. Netgear modems have some programming that works against the programming of their own routers which can be frusterating. Chose a different brand for a modem.

Good modem without a built-in wifi access point. Quality is pretty good, software config could be a little simpler, but good enough for the money.

I have switched the internet service provider from At&t to Comcast and this cable modem works without any problem.

Had to return within 90 days. Had problems with slow internet connection; called Netgear customer support after having multiple "warning" & "critical" alarms in the event log of the modem. They informed me that they have had this problem with this modem, and within 5 mins, they were offering to send me a new modem.
