This modem functions exactly as it is intended to and the Comcast employee had no trouble connecting it to their system. If you're looking for a basic modem to save yourself some money from renting a cable companies this modem fits the bill.

Needed a new modem to increase my internet speed with Comcast. This works great and was easy to connect. Only complaint is the lit icons are not obvious what they mean and only half are documented.

Bought this cable modem because I was I had a perfectly good WiFi router and was changing my Internet service from DSL, via Verizon's horribly maintained last mile with guaranteed 6 days of down time with every maintenance incident, to Comcast. This unit has met every expectation and will pay for itself in a few months. The only trick to getting it working was to power cycle my WiFi router so that the cable modem would establish a connection with the WiFi router. The dialogue in my WiFi router config GUI lead me to assume that just changing the config and clicking on save would get the job done, but I assumed wrong. Need to do the power off / power on.

Router was easy to setup and provides fast speeds. Great price and can easily save quite a bit on your cable bill. Works with most ISPs and is capable of IPv6. Highly recommend.

This is my first time to install a network device by myself. I even dont know how to choose the device for the Internet service. They recommend this one and finally I found it is a cable modem which don't have wifi inside. So, I had to buy another router later. But that doesn't prevent it still is a good modem.

This modem was recommended by Cox Communication as a preferred modem. Was easily installed and is working great. Best Buy matched the sales price. No regrets, its working great.

Bought this after mine went out. It was a cheaper one so I was worried but it's works great and best buy price matched also. I always try to get things at best buy first.

does what it needs to do. unless your internet service is >340 Mbps this is all you need. easy to set up. like any modem, make sure you screw the co-ax cable all the way in.

Easy to set up and works like a champ with the router we bought at the same time. We get a strong signal all through out the house and gone are the days of buffering Huzzah!

Nice router I've had no issues with it from the first install, Very easy to install, only down side was the price after I purchased it I ended up finding it cheaper at another store. All and all the money was spent and it's a good product!
