Bought this modem to replace our Time Warner modem. Worked out great. Pays for itself in about 6 months of savings off of our cable bill.

With the recent changes at Time Warner Cable, my internet service level had increased from 30Mb to 100Mb. I had purchased a modem about 4 years ago and it was now unable to keep up. I purchased this Netgear cable modem, since I had been using their equipment for many years in my home network with no complaints. It worked well as I had hoped and opened up my through put. Pricing was good for the quality. I prefer to shop for value and quality versus "cheapest". This modem fit that perfectly,

Needed to upgrade my old surfboard modem and this thing has done the trick. Easy set up, improved performance, no problems.

Have not had any issues with this. Nothing special about it. Easy to setup once the Internet provider did what they needed to do. It took them 2 weeks to get their end right, bummer.

I was a bit hesitant to buy this modem at first but I'm glad I did. It was a easy setup and I'm getting great speeds out of it.

Small, inexpensive, and practical modem. Maybe not the best or fastest one out there, but a great modem for the price!

Our old modem died so I bought this one. It was at the cheaper end and the tech told me it couldn't handle the next-generation speeds, but I think that's all a gimmick. I'm getting 40 plus MBs with this modem and an Eero wifi, more than enough to handle our homes multiple devices and streaming 4k. People seem to want to pay for more speed but don't realize they really don't need it.

Easy to set-up and works great with our router. We got a Google Home router system and it works great with it.

Works great so far. had to call cable company to activate even though the salesman said I wouldn't have to. Seems faster than the old surfboard modem I had.

When I saw my most recent Time Warner Cable bill I realized they were charging me $10.00/month just to have their cable modem. Since that adds up to $120/year, purchasing my own cable modem would pay off in a short time. Per Time Warner this Netgear unit was acceptable to replace theirs so I picked it up at Best Buy. Time Warner required that I bring it to their service center to have it scanned into their system and then it was plug and play from there. Really no setup required.

This was a reasonable price and easy to set up. I’m not a tech whiz so don’t worry, you can do it.

Bought it as a backup modem. Tested it and it is fast and reliable.

I purchased this item when we switched to Time Warner for our phone and internet service. This modem was worth the up front investment to avoid the monthly $7.50 modem charge to rent a Time Warner modem. Time Warner will still need to install their equipment due to a FCC regulation. However, if you have this modem you will not be charged the monthly rental fee. I had this modem there when the TWC tech arrived. He installed it for me during the service hook up.

Easy to set up for an old women. Works great. I would recommend this to place cable company modem.

It's better than my local internet company modem by 10 fold. However, I have a 2 story house and I seem to have trouble connecting or staying connected in some places. I'm not sure if it's the modem or the company.

I got rid of my Time Warner Cable Modem because I was tired of renting it for $10/month. I chose this modem and it works perfectly. No issues here.
