modem was easy to setup/connect. Simply call Comcast with S/N and it was activated. Bandwidth seems to be limited compared to the Comcast rental modem but is adequate for streaming.

After I took this Modem out of the box, it was easy to set up. My speed for down load is much faster. Works great on my computer. No more paying rent to the cable Co.

I would recommend to anyone seeking a basic router. I am not extremely knowledgeable but know enough to understand this is a solid piece of equipment for regular home use.

I didn't want to pay rental fees to my provider. I did lots of research and reviews. This modem is easy handling all of our technical needs. Another Best Buy awesome purchase.

Since purchasing this modem to replace BrighthouseCable's rented one, I have not lost connection even once. The speed is incredible, and it seems to run cooler. Highly recommended.

I needed a new modem and I found this one on sale. It does its job, but I've lost signal a couple of times and I've only had it for about a month and a half.

The cable modem was very easy to configure. I recommend this modem as a replacement for Comcast's modem.

Simple 3 connection hook-up. A quick call to internet provider completed the set-up. The monthly fee for rental would have been $13. No-brainer.

Modem was easy enough to plug and go. I use this in my garage where I have the house wired for internet.

Works fine so far and it's compatible with Mac. Even though its not the latest equipment is just enough for my basic cable Connection.

I bought this Modem because If your are planning to stay with Comcast after a few months you will be saving money instead of rent a modem with them ..

This is a basic cable modem that works with my internet provider. No real issues here--it's unremarkable and unnoticeable...which are great features of a cable modem.

Easy to install and set up. Connected seamlessly to wireless router, also Netgear, and easily handles 4+ Wireless devices at the same time with no apparent loss of speed.

Purchased to replace another Netgear modem that was several years old. I have always been happy with Netgear products and setup was very straightforward. Great product!
