I had upgraded from 150 Mbps to 250 Mbps with Comcast Xfinity, and needed to upgrade my old 4 channel modem. I went with this 8 channel without checking Comcast's compatibility list. Comcast wouldn't provision above 50 Mbps on this device. This is not the fault of the device, and it's capable of full speeds on other providers such as Time Warner and Charter. It's not the device's fault, but I cannot recommend this device. I replaced it with the Netgear CM600 and now enjoy above advertised speeds.

Good product. Rarely needs a reset. Needs a little head room for cooling. Works with Time Warner Cable and best of all you get out of the "rent-a-modem" scam by TWC.

The package states it provides set up that does not require contact to Internet provider. That was incorrect. Had to contact Xfinity during set-up. While that was a relatively simple, but unexpected process, setting it up to the existing router was also an issue as well that required another phone call to Belkin. This was an upgrade from a previous, Xfinity sold modem. It's been set up for almost a month now, and there have not been any issues so far. Let's hope that stays the same.

This modem is easily comparable with the Netgear router we were already using, plus it keeps us from having to pay the rental fee from our internet provider.

Got this since my old one was like 6 years old, didn't get the fastest speeds. This was inexpensive, worked with my provider and was easy to set up. So I am happy.

The modem was up and running perfectly with Xfinity in a matter of minutes. Great for those of you who don’t want to rent equipment anymore.

Saving money instead of leasing a modem from time warner for 10 dollars a month. 50 bucks and it's yours forever no more throwing away your money.

The use this common gadget enables far exceeds the price you'll pay for it, as long as it works. And it has! No issues to report, would recommend.

This modem has not failed. This is my second time purchasing, I left the first one at my mother's house when I relocated. It has caused me no problems.

This is an excellent choice for a modem especially if you have other linksys products.

I got this great modem for a lower price by doing the price-matching deal that Best Buy offers. They match certain competitor's prices. Go for it!

Lightning storm fried my other modem and router so we purchased this as a replacement. Set-up was very easy and no complaints so far.

When working from home, streaming tv & my boyfriend on the internet it bogged down. Exfinity/Comcast is my provider. Other than that seems to be reliable.

Overall a good product and great price. Worked really well with my current internet service provider.

Replaced moden on advice of my ISP. Install was very straightforward, and noticed my internet is a bit faster now. Good product so far, time will tell.

I bought my own modem this time to avoid paying monthly fees. This was a great purchase: very reliable and easy set up. Hope to have it for years
