I bought this because my roommate owned the one we used and when she moved out, I needed a replacement. There may be others that say they out perform the other brand, but this one was the most economical and it has done an equally good job as the last device.

My old one took a dive and ran out to buy another. Ran across this one t local Best Buy and really love it. Faster and more consistant than my old one anyway so kinda glad it took a dive. I would recommend this to anyone especially if you have X Finity.

Compared to motorola modem with same spec (download and upload speed), I got it cheaper price and have been satisfied with its performance.

I decided to get a new modem rather than rent one from oceanic. The oceanic rep recommended this one based on my needs. Easy setup and works great.

Works great plus saves on cable bill. Sufficient internet speeds for gaming and movie streaming.

I recently bought a netgear router and modem and I am so glad I did they were so easy to set up and net gear has an awesome app that lets you manage everything from your computer or mobile device

The NETGEAR - Ethernet DOCSIS 3.0 High-Speed Cable Modem works great with my NETGEAR - Nighthawk Wireless-AC Router. Netflix , Xbox and IPad and laptops all connect at the same time over my Comcast connection without any drops or slowness. We returned our Comcast Wi-Fi Modem three times as it would drop constantly, And then I purchased the NETGEAR - High-Speed Cable Modem now everything works great. I highly recommend the NETGEAR – High-Speed Cable Modem with NETGEAR Nighthawk Wi-Fi Modem for any home that has multiple devices well worth the price.

This was a great modem and easy to install. I am not one for installing Tech equipment, far from it, but this was fairly simple if you follow the instructions as indicated. Plus it did help my system for better connection to the internet.

The modem was very easy to install. Called Time-warner cable and in less than 5 minutes I had internet capabilities. Changing out the modem saved me 6.00 per month on my cable bill.

This product does exactly what it says it will. Works great when paired with a NetGear Router to provide wireless internet. Provides good range and good speed for the price.

I was looking for a good quality cable modem thinking I would need to buy a high priced unit and to my surprise I found the Netgear Cable Modem wich works great and complements my Netgear Wifi Router and Netgear Signal Booster Router

My old router wiped out and I went to Best Buy not knowing what to get. A sales associate listened to me to understand my needs and recommended this one. It solved the problem, works great, and looks good too. No complaints here.

Don't have any complains about this modem, it worked great, had no issues setting it up and my 75 MB internet is running smooth.

I currently purchased the modem because my cable provider wanted to charge me $8/month for theirs. So i decided to do some research and came across this NetGear Modem who i'm very pleased to own because i have since had nothing but fast reliable wireless and direct point to point connectivity with all my media devices. Of course i have a great router to go with it but it has never been slow or had to reset it because my service isn't connecting right nor because it's not giving great connectivity. I always do my research before i buy and take it from me, "it's a must buy and saves you the $8/month for a lifetime.

Setup was a snap. The only issue was explaining to Time Warner tech what a MAC address was. Decent speed and reliability.

This Netgear modem works great! It hooked right up to my Netgear wireless router. I have had no issues at all with it. The best part about it is that I no longer have to pay for a modem lease through my internet provider.

After reading several online reviews, I decided to go with the Netgear. Happily, everything was just as promised and I was able to avoid giving Comcast any more of my money than I absolutely have to!

Exactly as advertised! Connected to Xfinity high speed internet with no problem! Will pay for itself in a matter of months versus leasing from ISP. I'm very pleased!

It's a great basic modem. It's all you need to do what the average person does. So far it's reliable.
