Doesn't automatically connect with xfinity

I was lured by the fact that o wouldn't have to call xfinity to set it up. Boy was I wrong. After 3 phone calls and about 8 hours I was finally able to get it set up. Works fine now, but maybe another brand would be easier.

slow and bogs down

Everything else on the same surge protector was fine. Weak!

I spent over 45 minutes on the phone with support and they could do nothing to fix the problem so I returned the device and went with another brand.

Constantly Dropped Internet

Found some troubleshooting suggestions that pointed to the device losing DNS mapping. If I simply disconnected and reconnected the Ethernet cable between the modem and router (both Netgear) the issue would be resolved... for a few hours. Returned both Netgear devices and purchased a better solution for only $10 more. Connection has been solid for weeks!

Worst Modem Ever!!

So disappointed with Netgear when it comes to this product. Front of the box has a picture of Time Warner Cable's logo but isn't compatible with their service!!!
