My laptop network card went out for some reason. I had a couple of options. Spend a couple hundred to fix it, if it could be fixed or purchase this device to connect to the internet. It was a pretty easy decision. So far this wireless USB adapter has be very reliable. In fact it works better than the network card built into the laptop.

After an update to Window 10, my wifi malfunctioned repeatedly - hanging or not connecting at all. This Netgear adadpter solved these problems. The CD enclosed with the adapter would not install but Netgear has an online download. It took a few attempts to download the driver, but since then (c. 4 weeks) the adapter has functioned really well.

My PC doesn’t have built in wifi so i needed an adapter. This one works great. Just download the software and setup is quick and easy. I havent had any dropped connections or anything wrong with this product. I recommend it!

Picked up wifi for about 400 ft away. Holds a steady signal. Love it.

I know you are always going to lose strength from upstairs to downstairs, where the router is, but this adapter has held very good upload and download speeds

I bought this help improve wifi speed with spectrum and their 100mps service. They installed Their better equipment only to find my desktop PC was only rated at 22mps! I purchased this NetGear WiFi USB adapter when Covid hit and I was having to use my desktop from work at home. Pretty simple plug and go - I have never had a problem with it and have had it over a year now. Would definitely purchase again.

Not the cheapest but not too pricey and works great. The cable and base allow me to put the antenna where it gets a better signal

Was going to buy a new router to speed up my desktop computer that I had moved to an area in my home which had a very slow connection using wireless. Accessing the internet was virtually impossible because of the slow speed. Just by adding this device to my desktop (installation was a breeze) I am getting the same speed I had before moving it. Great product.
