Went into our local BB & the associate pointed me in this direction. This Netgear WiFi USB adapter fit the bill perfectly. Our PC is a bit old (only USB 2.0) but this still works a treat. Bought the 3.0 as we're thinking of upgrading the PC before the end of the year.

Works flawlessly!

My old one started to drop out intermittently when I upgraded to Windows 10 (this really sucked in MMORPGs). This one has worked flawlessly since I installed it. I don't do any network transfers at the house so cannot attest to the true speed capabilities and my internet speed is grossly limited by the ISP.

Great fix for 2.4 GHz-only laptop WiFi

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Laptop issued by work only does 2.4 GHz WiFi, limiting my download speeds to about 30-40 Mbps. My home laptop is dual-band and gets up to 350 Mbps. Added this Belkin device to the work machine and now I get at least 300 Mbps. Makes WebEx work a LOT better.

The only thing I wish is that it had another USB port or two in the back. I have my router on my TV stand and we plug our phones in to charge them on the TV stand. However, this is a minor suggestion for improvement. I would purchase this router or brand again.

Easy to plug in, let the computer set it up, and off you go. It is an upgraded version from the one I purchased here a few years ago (which I still use as well). These are handy devices especially when the laptop WiFi receiver begins to falter......

The stand is a nice feature with the extender USB

We were able to place it higher up due to the extender USB cord that comes with it and that helped get it off the back of the computer and clear of all the metal and put it on it's own stand included. That was a nice feature.
