Customers frequently mention the ease of use, strong WiFi performance, and reliable signal strength as significant advantages. Many appreciate the adapter's good range and relatively easy installation process. While some users noted the small size of the adapter, others reported occasional software issues. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs the negative comments.

This the first usb network adapter I have ever bought and to my surprise it connected better than the pci cards my brother in law was using in his computers. The signal great and it allowed download speeds equal to the wired lan line I was connected. A great buy and I would recommend this product.

The NETGEAR AC1200 Dual-Band WiFi USB 3.0 Adapter gives very good to excellent signal strength as a stand-alone plug-in device, but the wired extender port, when used, adds flexibility in positioning for maximum signal strength. Very few WiFi adapters have had this accessory included.

Used to connect my older PC's to 5GHZ router as their built in network cards abilities did not include the 5GHZ frequency

I previously tried another USB-based WiFi interface and it had trouble staying connected to the network due to the large distance back to the router (~80 feet through many walls). This interface not only connects easily at this distance, it delivers great wireless speed (>100 Mbps).

Perfect for a college student. My son's gaming desktop had a built in wireless card with a lower speed...this helped me overcome the issues (complaints).

My new mini-ITX PC does not have a built-in wifi adapter so I had to get one that should work right away. This is the one. You just plug it in and started working without any fuss.
Highly recommended.

My wireless switch on my vaio broke so I was using an Ethernet cable for awhile at home but since I'm not able to use it on the go, I finally got this. I am so glad I did!! It was easy to setup and works very well. Speeds are much faster than my old wireless that is preassembled in my vaio and much more stable.

I purchased this to replace an older N adapter. It has been a huge improvement for me. I like the fact that it can connect to the back of my desktop and have the antenna set higher out of the way. I have not had any issues with losing connection or signal, I could not say that about my previous unit.

extremely easy. Did not have to use the CD it came with for installation. Just plugged it into the USB Port and everything came up so I was able to have the wireless connection I needed when we switched from ATT to Xfinity phone and internet service.
