    This is my first wifi range extender and since I have a Netgear modem it made it simple to setup. I even brought it to someone's else's house to use it and the wps button on the unit made it simple to connect to their modem. Works great!

    As far as what this product does, I love it. Definitely amplified the wifi through the deadspots in my house. As far as ease of setup, it could be much better. It was not plug and play by any means and it took me nearly an hour to get it up and running with my wifi. I am probably average in terms of tech know how and this thing just didn't want to play nice. The app is cumbersome and probably could be improved.

    Easy set up straight forward works perfectly with my Xfinity router. Also it mirrors your current wifi configuration and will not create a second network with a new name or security credentials

    I live in a brick building with old thick plaster walls. Internet vendor equipment could not a reliable signal throughout the apartment. The NETGEAR Extender solved that problem!!!

    I needed to boost the internet from the first floor to a basement TV for Hulu etc. I placed the booster halfway between the router and the tv. Works great. It was also very simple to program the booster. A good purchase!
