It completely works as advertised. My original (via Satelite) WIFI Base is upstairs; this has been challenging for me with "blind spots" downstairs in my home. The problem no longer exists! Not only does the product work as advertised, but also the "Best Buy" customer service rep. confirmed my home WIFI specs., to match exactly my system/home needs. Thank you!

So we purchased the The Wi-Fi range extender. We now have full function internet service through out the house up stairs and down even out in the yard.
