Other than an issue with getting the unit to actually recognize the presence of a DSL signal, the unit has been trouble free. Netgear Tech Services was very helpful getting the unit on line although that took two calls. On IP supplied unit, could not depend on signal on the floor above the unit location; this unit gives much better coverage on all three floors of the house plus 20 or more feet outside the house.

The standard century link wasn't fast enough for 3 computers at once and an Xbox so we purchased this one. Works great

Replacing a similar item so already had experience. Works well but not the easiest to set up. Needed IT support help.

Netgear works faster than what I had, it is amazing. As always web protection is taking great care of my computers.

It is satisfactory for a small home. The range is not as large of an area as I expected, my computer set in the next room, approximately 30 feet from the router, signal strength will vary from 3-5 bars. My iPhone experiences similar levels so I do not believe it is a problem with the computer having a poor wifi hardware.

This modem/router was very easy to set up and has been working well. It's nice to have a single apparatus on the desktop instead of both a modem and a router.

Bought a cheaper unit and was constantly having to reboot it several times a day. Since hooking this one up have had no problems whatsoever and it works great.

Like it 99.9% The 1% that I don’t like goes to the fact that you can’t deny access to devices (some time I would like to deny access to devices that are downloading heavy data and slowing down everybody else connected) dsl is already slow don’t download when everybody is trying to use it. Other than that it’s a awesome router.

A nice modem. Internet and coverage work well. Easy to set up also.

Has great admin features for setting up your own wifi network. Lots of configuration features to tweak it how you want it. I was disappointed at the range of both the 2.4 and the 5 MHz radios. Covered the first floor ok, but limited range on the other floors. When you want to make changes in the configuration use a browser other than IE. I spent some time on that one...

This router was so easy to connect and configure. It was up and running in a matter of minutes. The signal appears stronger and downloads are quicker

The router/modem combination eliminates a lot of wire mess. It has been very reliable in quickly making the internet connections and not dumping them.
