I installed this Netgear range extender and linked it to my new Netgear router. Installation was straightforward. I experimented with several locations and found the one that worked best for extending access throughout my home. So far everything has worked well. I am very pleased with this solution. I like the mesh system that provides seamless access to the same Internet connection throughout my home.
Great value for the performance and ease of setup.

Existing AT&T Uverse wireless coverage from the router in the basement was insufficient and I couldn't justify a mesh system like the Orbi. I plugged the EAX15 in on the main floor in the center of the house, installed the app, and updated the firmware in less than 15 minutes. This extender amplifies the existing wireless 2.4 and 5 Ghz signals using the same SSID's unlike the earlier non-mesh generation units without a noticeable performance drop. All of the existing wireless devices automatically connected to stronger signal.

While this works well as as single SSID name extender I don't believe it is a true "mesh" unit unless it used with with other Netgear products. I am an IT person and know how commercial mesh systems work.
In this application it is being used with T-Mobiles new 5G home internet unit which supports Wi-Fi 6 and "mesh" units in the AX band, The new modem supports the AX band/protocol. On my modems dashboard it shows if a Wi-Fi 6 AX unit is meshed with it and it does not. It shows zero devices connected. On my network it just shows up as another extender with an IP address,
In commercial systems one radio will hand off to the other as you move through a building and you'd never know it. Since this unit is not "meshed" with the modem there are some contention issues on whether the device (phone / tablet) continues receiving its signal from the modem or the extender. When close to the extender my phone is still connected to the TMO modem and really doesn't hand off as I expected it should. once beyond the modems signal then extender picks it up.
The idea of mesh systems in commercial units is to give you a solid decent signal as you move through a building.
Works great as an extender but at this point do not believe its a true mesh system unit. Use as you see fit.

Works well. I moved it a few times to get a better signal. There are fewer drops than I was experiencing before. If I had done better research ahead of time I would have gone with a mesh Wi-Fi. I’ll save that for next time!

Purchased this Netgear WiFi extended to replace a much older Netgear extender. Experiencing stronger WiFi signal and faster speeds with the AX1800. Very satisfied with results.

I already had this one. Now I have added one more. Installation was quite simple as I have a netgear router.
The speed is good and connection is stable.

I live in a separate Basement Apt where the wifi has always been spotty because the internet is provided through my landlord who lives upstairs and the router is placed upstairs. The best speed I’d get was around 40 mbps and only in the far corner of my apartment. Now after installing my new netgear extender, I’m consistently pulling speeds of 100mbps all through by apt across multiple devices. This little extender is worth all the money and I wish I would have bought it sooner.

I had to figure it out first. My phone doesn't automatically switch to the stronger signal. Found out that I can turn WIFI off and immediately back on it will grab the stronger signal. I love it now. I can get WIFI in my yard and garden.

Just what I needed. Until I purchased this product, my Wi-Fi did not reach the entire house. Now I have strong Wi-Fi in each room. Also was easy to setup.

I have an internet outage in my area and I work from home. My neighbor said I could try to log on to her internet so I could work. I got on but keep getting kicked off. Long stressful day. I needed to be able to work, so I went out and bought this wifi extender. Thanks to the extender and my neighbor, I am up and running. Great product. If it can extend the wifi next store, I can't wait to see what it does for my wifi when the outage is over. Diffently recommend this product.

So I was skeptical of range extenders, the last one I had was absolutely terrible. But I bought this one because mesh extenders have gotten good reviews. The setup was simple and the performance is way better than expected. Once in a while itll disconnect but its so infrequent and reconnects so quickly its not noticeable, the only reason I noticed it was because I was looking for a problem. Overall very good and does better than expected.

eventually got this product to work in my apartment which needed a boost in the Wi-Fi network. So far so good and I am pleased to report it really works..

We had a troublesome area in a portion of our house with our WiFi network that was sensitive to the laptop antenna position within the room. I decided to use a NetGear EAX15 WiFi extended in this room to improve the overall signal strength of our WiFi network in the room. This immediately resolved the issue related to the laptop antenna position within the room. Great purchase and device.

The set up was simple and the performance is exceptional. It automatically adopts the same name as my Wi-Fi network, so I didn’t have to make any changes or configurations on my equipment. Not only would buy it again, but I want a second one to boost the signal upstairs in my theater room.

This is great extender that increased the wi-fi coverage in my house. I like that it doesn't need a power cord yet doesn't block the second receptacle of the outlet. The app makes installation easy.

I bought this for my ring driveway cam because I wasn’t getting a strong enough WiFi connection. It did increase the WiFi signal but I thought it would do a better job. Overall I’m happy with it.
